Biography
I am Will Harwell, a senior student at SCAD.SCAD has given me the tools and skills to be an independent, efficient filmmaker. I get to test those skills as I emerge into the professional world. Most recently, I started working at Timeline Productions as a subcontractor. My duties range from changing time-lapse batteries at Gulfstream to shooting the rollout of a finished jet. I occasionally work on sets with Golf Brands and Golf Courses with Timeline Productions. Most recently, I shot my first professional wedding as a freelancer, making my mark in the Savannah area and building my brand.
All this comes from the foundation of my education at SCAD and my apprenticeship at the Savannah Ghost Pirates (2023-2024). The SCAD curriculum has taught me to be bold and different. I’ve fostered my connections and built my network, and now I have a strong group of filmmakers with common interests. The future feels exciting, and I am excited to find my way in this amazing and competitive industry.
