Biography
I am a documentary director and producer and co-founder of Between the Rivers Productions. I produced and co-directed “Letters from Baghdad” with Sabine Krayenbühl. The film is voiced and exec produced by Tilda Swinton and showed theatrically in over 100 theaters in the U.S. and U.K. It broadcast around the world including PBS, BBC and ARTE. We recently co-directed “Obsessed with Light,” voiced by Cherry Jones. The film was co-produced by ZDF/ARTE, premiered at the Rome Film Festival and launched theatrically in NYC in Dec. 2024. I also produced “Ahead of Time” which won 6 Best Documentary awards. My work has been supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities, New York State Council on the Arts, Women in Film Finishing Fund and many others.
I come to film from a career in still photography and my work has been extensively exhibition and published including in The New York Times Magazine.
