I Need to Pee! is an animated slapstick comedy about a twink from Brooklyn who can’t find a place to pee in New York City.
Equal parts slapstick chase comedy and sharp class satire, I Need to Pee! skewers the privatization of public
space, the indignities of being broke in an expensive city, and the absurd gap between those who own the toilets and those who can’t find one.
New York City only has 973 operational public bathrooms to serve a population of 8.5 million. Only 8 of those are open 24/7. Everyone’s had that moment — the frantic, full-bladder scramble through a city that suddenly has nowhere to go. I Need to Pee! turns that universal indignity into a rallying cry for more public bathrooms, one desperate sprint at a time.
