After directing several short narrative and documentary films that premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Michael produced, directed, and edited Alaska Dreams in 2011, a 30 minute documentary film that was aired throughout Southern California by Cox Communications. Michael received Pacific Southwest Regional Emmy awards as the editor of the film, and as the producer of an educational special. Michael has been an independent producer since 1991, and in 2014 he joined forces with Justin Rowe to create Frontage Road Studios.
