Born in Turin, Italy, Primetime Emmy Award winning producer Lorenzo Minoli cultivated a love for film and storytelling since his years in high school in Rome. After more than 15 years as a journalist and documentary producer, Lorenzo turned his attention to narrative filmmaking. He relocated to the United States and produced more than 50 hours of prime-time television movies and miniseries, winning a Prime Time Emmy Award and earning two more nominations along the way. He is also a recipient of the prestigious Christopher Award and few ACE awards.

1987 Produces and brings to Milano first to Baltimore then an impressive exhibition
on the Chernobyl disaster with the photos of Igor Kostin who was interviewed for the
first time on the Italian TV
1989 Creates and manages the first and only tour of the world by car. The“Mir
Caravan” (The caravan of Peace). Italian, German, Russian, American members of
the team cross the entire world. Leaving Rome and arriving in Genova the day the
city commemorates the discovery of the Americas by Columbus. The caravan
crosses, Italy, Germany, crosses the Iron wall in Berlin, crosses all the Baltic
republics, arrives in Moscow then Georgia, Armenia and then all the way to
Vladivostock, From there crosses the ocean and lands in Portland and then all the
USA to New York then by sea to Barcelona and the from Barcelona to Genova.
1990 Hired by the city of Taormina to launch the festival at the beautiful roman
theatre. Two years of work and a great success and then the town takes over as
agreed.
1991-1992 Hired by the Oil Industry Consortium of Italy , works on establishing the
image of Letizia Moratti future Mayor of Milano, then President of the Italian
Broadcasting Company (RAI).
1992-1993 Creates and produces documentaries in the US for the Italian TV and
BBC.
1993-2003. Moves to the US in CT and produces 12 miniseries and two films for
Prime time tv (TNT, CBS, ABC) coproduction with German and Italian and French
partners.
1993-2003 Onorary citizien of Ourazazade Morocco, for the great impulse he has
provided to the local economy by building film production studios, hiring and
forming local labor forces and investing over 150 milion US dollars in the local
economy.
1995 Awarded Primetime Emmy Award. Two more nominations in years to follow
1998 Jamie Lee Curtis Emmy nominated outstanding lead actress for Nicholas’ Gift.

traveling movie theater that is rented “turn key “ to public administration for the
summer entertainment of the citizens. Produces over 1500 events including 3 weeks
in the largest square in Venice.
1986 -1992 IMAGO produces important documentaries: the Soviet Judicial system;
a in depth story on the soviet prisons; the Red Army in Afghanistan; the drying up of
the Aral Sea ; the disaster of Chernobyl ; interview with Boris Eltzin; Siberian Oil
Fields and the just opened to the public labor camps in the Yamal Peninsula;
develops a TV series “The inspector Kalashnikov” with the Italian iconic film and tv
