Biography
I’m a journalist and filmmaker, the writer-producer of the journalistic thriller Mr. Jones, directed by three-time Academy Award-nominee Agnieszka Holland, starring James Norton, Vanessa Kirby, and Peter Sarsgaard, and the host of the podcast Gaslit Nation, about corruption in America and rising autocracy worldwide. My books include Orwell and The Refugees: The Untold Story of Animal Farm; Dictatorship: It’s Easier Thank You Think!; In the Shadow of Stalin: The Story of Mr. Jones; Mrs. Orwell, and A Reasonable Guide for Unreasonable Women: 20 Steps to Find Your Purpose and Power in a World on Fire.
