Dan Caldwell, is a respected and acclaimed local farmer on 30 acres of family land near Portland Oregon. He is also a producer of fine Maple syrup products tapped from the local Western Maples that dot the edges of his farm. Building on his family legacy Dan started Bigfoot Food as a cooperative effort with a local university’s environmental science department to further his goal of maintaining a viable business in an ever changing landscape.
