For the first time in its 118-year history, the story of this iconic race is

being documented on film.
The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) has granted unprecedented, exclusive access to the Boston Marathon to award winning director Jon Dunham, creator of the critically acclaimed Spirit of the Marathon films.

Dunham’s film, BOSTON, will chronicle the triumphs and tragedies of the race through conversations with champions from around the globe, footage from the 2014 event, rare archival footage and the emotional stories of today’s runners and spectators.

As epic in scope as it is an important historical document, BOSTON is being filmed on location worldwide and across the U.S. BOSTON involves:

300+ hours of footage
