Biography
Nicki Wilson (TRIFEST Executive Director) has spent a lifetime in the arts – writing, directing, acting and producing. She studied experimental film at the Millennium Film Workshop in NYC. She was the Executive and Creative Director of two nonprofit theatre companies – Castle Hill Theatre and NEW Stage Performing Arts Center in western MAssachusetts. Nicki helped lead her community to save and buy her local independent movie theater in Great Barrington, MA in 2023 and became the first Board President of the new nonprofit community owned Triplex Cinema in Great Barrington, MA. in 2023. In 2025, she stepped down as Board President in order to start TRIFEST International Youth Film Festival, a festival that would specifically showase, celebrate and encourage emerging filmmakers 25 and under from around the world.
