Mahyad Tousi is a multidisciplinary storyteller and co-founder of BoomGen Studios and the newly launched Starfish—a creative IP accelerator designed to unleash the full market potential for transformative pop culture ideas originating from artists of color. Tousi’s work spans across mediums, genres, and platforms, ranging from museum pieces to Hollywood blockbusters.

He is currently executive producing The United States of AI for CBS, and co-creating 1001, a 360 franchise based on The Tales of a Thousand and One Nights. Tousi sits on the advisory board of MIT’s Center for Advanced Virtuality, pioneering virtual relaity, artifical intelligence, and other technologies to serve human needs better. He lives in Los Angeles (via Brooklyn) with his wife and two sons.
