Biography

Hi, I’m Liza Mosquito deGuia—most people call me Skeeter.

I’m a passionate storyteller, filmmaker, and the founder of Food. Curated., a James Beard Award-winning, 5x-nominated documentary series that’s been redefining how food stories are told for over 15 years. With a cinematic eye and deep respect for the makers behind every dish, I’ve built a trusted brand that resonates with food lovers, industry leaders, and media partners alike. My work uplifts small businesses, amplifies underrepresented voices, and sparks meaningful dialogue across digital, television, and social platforms.

I thrive at the intersection of storytelling, food craftsmanship, and community—building a docuseries that moves, inspires, and yes- makes you hungry.nnEat more stories. xx Skeeter
