Biography
Liz Roman Gallese’s award-winning documentary, Women of ’69, Unboxed, received support from the National Endowment for the Arts, among others, and was telecast nationwide on major PBS affiliates. The film looks at 1969 graduates of a former women’s college—same year as Hillary Clinton—reflecting 45 years later on lives shaped by the unprecedented societal upheavals of the 1960s.
A former journalist, Gallese reported and wrote for The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, and leading consumer and business magazines. She is the author of Women Like Us, an exploration of the first class at the Harvard Business School to be 10 percent female.
