Joshua Gaestel is an Emmy nominated director, cinematographer, and editor based in Easthampton, MA.  His previous work includes creating and directing the documentary series “Five to Nine” for Connecticut Public Media, working as cinematographer on the documentary “Life Ain’t Fair”, director of photography for the CPM music series “Amplify”, and more recenlty writing and directing narrative shorts under the banner Arborcast Films.  Joshua feels that film is the most exciting way to communicate ideas, and he can not wait to get back on set.  His work can be found at arborcastfilms.com  and on his profile on FilmFreeway.com.

Life Ain't Fair (2021)

Life Ain’t Fair is a documentary about the Three County Fair and valley agriculture. Produced and directed by PJ Moynihan from Digital Eyes Films. Joshua Gaestel worked as cinematographer and assistant editor on this film.
