Biography
I am the founder of Sea Pine Productions LLC a film production company based in New Haven, Connecticut. Sea Pine produces documentary and educational films for universities, non-profits, and healthcare organizations. I am currently producing a feature-length documentary, Threaded, which traces the journey of a century-old Torah scroll and the communities it has served—from pre-war Poland to the United States, and now to a new home in Valencia, Spain. Threaded is a story of resilience, community, and rebirth across one hundred years of Jewish life.

On July 9 1391, nearly all the Jews in Valencia, Spain were massacred and over 1300 years of thriving Jewish life in Valencia came to an abrupt end. Nearly to the day, 634 years later on July 4, 2025, a small congregation from Connecticut donated a Torah to Shir Jadash, a growing and vibrant Reform Jewish community in Valencia. Threaded traces the journey of this 100-year-old Torah from its pre-war roots in southern Poland to its longtime home in several congregations in the northeastern U.S., and its journey now to Spain, where all Jews were expelled over 550 years ago. Through the movement of this Torah and the communities it has served, we encounter a Jewish story of resilience, connection, and rebirth.
