Biography
I am Gauri, a senior at Boston University studying Film and TV and International Relations. Experiences in research, journalism, and creative direction merged to create my passion for documentary filmmaking. My storytelling is influenced by my upbringing in India and immigration to the US in my childhood. It pushes me to tell under-represented stories at the intersection of art, community organizing, and women of color. I aspire to work with people and create documentaries with similar levels of empathy and intention, especially as I prepare to graduate college.
