Biography
Elizabeth Dwyer is an Emmy and Webby Award-winning producer and documentary filmmaker, creating arts and culture content for all platforms. For 12 years she was a news and segment producer for NYC-ARTS, a weekly primetime arts and culture showcase for the tri-state area, airing on New York public television station Thirteen. She has produced segments for PBS Arts Talk, a national series on artists interviewing artists. She was also a producer, writer and project lead for #PBSForTheArts, a national campaign creating digital-first stories for PBS.org and PBS social media. Before beginning her career in television production, she worked as a Senior Editor for The Museum of Television & Radio and was an Assistant Professor of English and Latino Studies at The State University of New York. She graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in English and Communiciations, and from Rutgers University with a Masters in Literatures in English and a Certificate in Women’s Studies.
