Biography

 

Dan Frank has created a wide variety of TV and film programs. As a producer and director his work has screened at numerous film festivals, including Woodstock, Independent Film Festival Boston, Big Sky, United Nations Association, Vancouver Asian Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, and Slamdance. TV projects include a series about American architecture on PBS and programming that has aired on Discovery, FOX, Amazon, NBCUniversal, HGTV, DIY, and TLC. He has also produced a number of independent narrative shorts for first-time writer/directors. He is an Assistant Professor of TV & Film Production at Endicott College.

Never Again Para Nadie (2022)

Role: Independent Filmmaker

Co-Director and Co-Producer of Never Again Para Nadie

In the poorest city in Rhode Island, peaceful demonstrators tried to shut down a for-profit prison housing ICE detainees, only to be met with violence. Never Again Para Nadie translates as Never Again for Anyone. It means that no one should be a target. No one should be denied their human rights.

The award-winning doc short screened at numerous festivals including Independent Film Festival Boston, Woodstock, Indy Film Festival, New Hampshire Film Festival, and Big Muddy.
