Biography

 

Bonnie Waltch is the award-winning senior producer and writer of the one-hour PBS and international broadcast documentary, Earth Emergency, and series of five short films, Climate Emergency: Feedback Loops, narrated by Richard Gere. She has worked for a variety of television series, including NOVA, Scientific American Frontiers, and Discover Magazine. She regularly freelances at Northern Light Productions, where she has produced, directed, and written films for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the Niagara Falls Welcome Center, the Pikes Peak Visitor Center, the Capital Jewish Museum, the Tennessee State Museum, the Nebraska State Museum, the Mob Museum, the National World War II Museum and, most recently, as producer on the forthcoming documentary, Beyond the Stage: The Urban Nutcracker, Community and the Arts, which will air on PBS in December ’22. She was also the executive director of Filmmakers Collaborative for ten years. Bonnie is currently developing a film project about the bipolar spectrum.
