Unprotected Senses

Tatyana Gessen’s documentary about the groundbreaking Russian-Jewish theater director Kama Ginkas. Against the backdrop of modern Moscow and with commentaries by theater critic John Freedman, the scenes from Ginkas’s productions of the last fifteen years are shown and interspersed with Ginkas’s thoughts about life and theater.
