Media Girls
A project by Michelle Cove
Award-winning filmmaker/journalist Michelle Cove is launching MEDIAGIRLS, a not-for-profit program in which middle-school girls explore how females are portrayed in pop culture while learning how to create their own content that empowers girls and women.
The 8-week program will be held weekly at Brookline Interactive Group in Brookline, MA this summer, and expand this fall to a low-income school in Boston. Visit www.mediagirls.org for more information.
