Boston Filmmakers’ Expo 2005
Held on June 9, 2005 at Northeastern University, the Boston Filmmakers’ Expo gathered over 400 attendees, special guests, and panelists together for a day-long conference, featuring workshops, panels, seminars, informational booths, a keynote speaker, and a networking party.
Special guests included Geralyn Dreyfous, executive producer of Academy award winning documentary, “Born Into Brothels;” Paula Silver, marketing specialist for “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and hundreds of other commercial films; Fernanda Rossi, “Doc Doctor” columnist for The Independent, and numerous others.
The Expo served both emerging and experienced filmmakers working in documentary, narrative, experimental, and animation by imparting professional development skills and cutting-edge information around Technology, The Business of Filmmaking, and Marketing & Distribution, and by offering networking opportunities to a wide range of filmmakers and industry professionals.
