Melissa Peabody

Biography

Melissa Peabody is executive producer and owner of Living World Films LLC. An award-winning video producer and editor, Melissa has created wildlife, environmental, and history programs since the mid-1990s. Her documentary broadcast credits include Turner Broadcasting (Dolphins In Danger), an Animal Planet 13-part series about marine ecosystems (Wyland’s Ocean World), as well as many other nature and wildlife documentaries for international TV broadcast. Her award-winning original film, San Francisco—Still Wild At Heart, has been broadcast on KQED-PBS, and has been shown in festivals and screenings around the country and globally.

Melissa is currently at work on Green Hairstreak & The Butterfly Man, a documentary about one man’s efforts to save a local species – the stunning and iridescent Green Hairstreak butterfly of San Francisco.
