The Frozen Chosen tells the intimate stories of modern-day missionaries working on the frontlines of the Church Planting movement, an increasingly strategic and organized approach by Evangelical denominations to spreading the word of Jesus Christ and finding new converts. Shot over the course of one tumultuous year in the “bluest of the blue states” Massachusetts, the film follows two ambitious young Evangelical pastors and their families as they attempt to start new churches, save souls and connect with the secular, liberal population that lives on the other side of the cultural divide.
