CRAZY​ tells the story of Swedish immigrants who pass on genetic brain disorders to their children and grandchildren. A nonfiction detective story the film follows their daughters as they investigate their mothers multiple breakdowns and hospitalizations, searching for answers to their own devastating mood swings, anxiety, depression and maladaptive coping skills. With a mix of pathos, humor and hope, ​CRAZY​ portrays the inadequate treatment and stigma of mental illness faced by​ ​so many others​ ​around the world.
