Victoria Lewis has directed, edited and produced award-winning films in the San Francisco Bay Area for fifteen years. Her early editing credits include Making of Raiders of the Lost Ark for Lucasfilms and Louie Bluie, Terry Zwigoff’s acclaimed documentary about Howard Armstrong that premiered at the Telluride Film Festival. Her first directing credit was Live Water, which also screened at the Telluride Film Festival and was broadcast on PBS.
Other broadcast credits as a producer/director include Mystery of the Last Tsar that was licensed by the Discovery Channel and nominated for a CableACE Award, and Anastasia: Dead or Alive? for NOVA. She also directed Wheels, an award-winning film about a unique troupe of dancers in wheelchairs. She is featured in “Release Print” as one of the top filmmakers in the Bay Area.
Her skills as a production designer add visual appeal for documentary interviews. She is currently working on a feature length documentary, Fiddle Summit, featuring virtuoso fiddlers who explore the roots of their diverse traditions.
