Nicole graduated with double majors at New York University in Dramatic Writing (screenwriting) and Film/Television Production. Upon graduation she began her award-winning first feature documentary “Bible Quiz”. ”Bible Quiz” premiered at the 2013 Slamdance Film Festival where it won the Grand Jury Award before going on to play 25+ festivals, theaters nationwide, Netflix, and on TV across the world on the Sundance Channel Global. It was called “instantly lovable” by Hollywood Reporter and “smart, funny and disarming” by the L. A. Times. Nicole also created a short documentary “The Writer” as part of Harun’s Farocki’s “Labour in A Single Shot” which has been exhibited at the 2015 Viennale, Museum Folkwag, Milla Gallery in the Boston Center for the Arts, House of World. She is also in production on a short fiction film “Public Pool” which was selected for the 2016 Berlinale Talents Short Film Station and won best short screenplay at the Pheonix Film Festival and also at The CA Women’s Film Festival.She has been an artist in resident at VCCA, Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts and Berlinale Talents.
