Mark Fastoso is a multiple Emmy® award-winning producer with more than fifteen years experience working for PBS. He holds a master’s degree in history as well as a degree in fine arts. This has given him a unique perspective on creating compelling programming on historical subjects. His film JEREMIAH, about Vietnam POW Jerry Denton, has garnered many accolades including an Edward R Murrow Award. He also has extensive experience in creating highly interactive programming using the most current technologies in broadcast and on the web. Currently, he is working to produce a documentary which uses data mining to offer a new perspective on George Washington for a 21st century audience. His latest film in pre-production is “The Darkest Hour”.
