Lynn Weissman
In addition to broadcast on public television and Free Speech TV, Lynn Weissman’s work has screened at film festivals around the U.S and in Canada, and won a Documentary Profile award from the Alliance for Community Media.
A decade after earning her M.S. in Public Health in 1992, Weissman earned a second master’s degree in Philanthropy and Media from the Visionaries Institute, where she was honored with a merit-based full scholarship through the generosity of actor-philanthropist Sam Waterston. Weissman has won Video Artist awards from the Puffin Foundation and the Somerville Arts Council.
Technologically inclined, she freelances as a camerawoman, video editor and producer. Her documentary-in-progress SUV, Mon Amour: An American Love Story will take a playful but poignant look at America’s romance with the Sport Utility Vehicle.
