Eric Forman

Eric Forman is a Brooklyn-based documentary producer/shooter. Forman began his career in documentaries while a sophomore at Boston University when he spent a summer internship at Public Policy Productions working on Academy Award nominated film SOUND AND FURY. After working for various independent filmmakers in Boston, including a stay at The Filmmakers Collaborative, Forman moved to New York in 2005.

Forman associate produced and assistant edited Ambrica Productions’ award-winning film YOUNG & RESTLESS IN CHINA which aired on PBS FRONTLINE in 2008. He was the Coordinating Producer on Globalvision’s BARACK OBAMA: PEOPLE’S PRESIDENT and the Supervising Producer on THE BATTLE OF DURBAN II: ISRAEL, PALESTINE & THE UNITED NATIONS. Most recently Forman was the Supervising Producer on RISK TAKERS, a documentary series produced by Storyville Films for BLOOMBERG TV.

In addition to a variety of doc-related freelance work for clients such as HBO, PRADA, VOA, ALWAYSON and THE 9/11 MEMORIAL MUSEUM, he started Forman Films to produce his own films of social importance. DEAD TIME will be his directorial debut.
