Barbara Gullahorn-Holecek has produced films around the world for NOVA, PBS, UNICEF, and other organizations. Her work has taken her, among other places, to Chile, Nigeria, Ghana, India, and Papua New Guinea. She has explored aspects of anti-colonialism, liberation, and indigenous rights; the medical rehabilitation of survivors of torture and trauma; what Papua New Guineans think of the anthropologists who have studied them.

She is currently working on Voices From Africa, a series of oral histories of Africans who have lived through pre-and post-independence in Africa. Barbara is the founder of Seascape Productions.
