Artemis Joukowsky

Joukowsky is a non-profit activist and socially responsible venture capitalist. He is an Executive Producer on CARBON NATION (2010), a film about climate change solutions. He has formed ten for-profit and eight non-profit institutions and has been a founding partner in two venture capital funds.

Currently, director Artemis Joukowsky is at work on “The Minister’s War“, the story of Waitstill and Martha Sharp, a Unitarian minister and his social activist wife, who helped save thousands of lives while and working in war torn Europe. Joukowsky has worked for a decade to tell the Sharps’ story of empathy and defense of all people. The result of his work is this documentary film, a book with accompanying curriculum and an archive of over 12,000 documents. He has established partnerships with Facing History and Ourselves, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, Brown University and Harvard University.
