BOARD CHAIR Ankur Sharma
A business executive and passionate media & art lover, Ankur has spent over a decade working with Fortune 500 executives, family businesses and early stage ventures. He specializes in growth and turnaround strategy, market development, customer experience, sales and operations. As a former artist and Off-Broadway performer, Ankur loves working with independent filmmakers and musicians on branding and marketing. He has a Bachelor’s of Science from Drake University and is a graduate of Stanford Business School, where he focused on global leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship

A career nonprofit and fundraising professional, Juliana has served on staff and as a consultant in the U.S. and Europe for arts and culture, social services, environmental organizations, and private and public educational institutions. She also has extensive experience in public relations, marketing, and special events. Since 2011, she has served as the lead guest lecturer for Lasell College’s fundraising certificate course in the graduate nonprofit management program. She holds a BA in anthropology from UMASS, Amherst, where Juliana studied visual anthropology, and has an MA in Italian Renaissance art history from Syracuse University.
TREASURER: Bill Starr
Bill brings more than 20 years of international experience in finance, entrepreneurship and business development. He is the Managing Director of The CFO Center, where he leads a team of CFOs to provide CFO services on a part-time basis. As part of his role, Bill serves as the CFO for TechHub Boston, as well as for a select number of high-growth startups in the media and technology space. He is a former investment banker with The Collins Group and Macquarie Bank, and a former Senior Manager, PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA), and earned his bachelor’s degree in business at Bishop’s University in Quebec, Canada.
SECRETARY: Sandra Forman
Boston-based attorney, Sandra Forman, has a diverse practice in the areas of entertainment and copyright law. Her clients include film and television producers and directors, screenwriters, animators, book authors, talent, book publishers, distributors, and multi-media and educational software producers. Over the past ten years, she has also served as project director and legal counsel on the re-release of Eyes on the Prize, the fourteen-hour, Emmy Award winning series on America’s Civil Rights Movement. Ms Forman is on the Board of Directors of Filmmakers Collaborative, the Advisory Board of Women in Film and Video New England, and the Pro Bono Panel of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. She is a frequent guest speaker at colleges, conferences, film festivals and media organizations.
