Emerson College Faculty Shorts: Featuring Rob Sabal
The Coolidge Corner Theater will be screening Emerson College faculty shorts on Tuesday March 30th and Wednesday March 31st at 7 pm!
Screenings include:
Rob Sabal: (FC member) We Lived There evokes the lingering memories that reside in a place once called ‘home.’ The images are restricted to outside space while the voices remind us of what went on inside.
Anya Belkina: Insurgency Of Ambition The illusion of success lures a man to the very threshold of glory only to unsheathe its true, frightening nature as he gets within reach.
Tom Kingdon: Beowulf When a court is terrorized by two “monsters,” a super-hero arrives to fight them. A work created by physical improvisation. (28 minutes)
Interfaces: Sunday, summer, Hollywood Hills, 1964 ….. (15 minutes)
Jan Roberts-Breslin: Proverbial Wisdom (2009) It has been said that proverbs are the wit of one and the wisdom of many. A visual interpretation of six common proverbs. (4 min.)
Jean Stawarz: The Hunters Much to her father’s annoyance, 12-year-old Danni eagerly replaces her sick brother on an annual father-son weekend hunting trip. While struggling to prove herself in the male dominated world of hunting, an act of cowardice becomes Danni’s coming-of-age.
